The continuing story of Alice in the Rabbit Hole.
Part 1

Her’s meeting with Dr Nox.

Dr Nox: “  In Life we are in this ever-challenging voyage ; Like on a rippled sea, our boats rocked on upon every wave – Only the strongest boats will survive.”

Alice:  ” and what happens when they do survived?”

Dr Nox combs his beard and looks at Alice with weary eyes.

Dr Nox: “Well, when they do survived, they reach the shore of a paradise. But then, even as they reach the shore, there still lies a final test to be faced.”

” And what’s that? ” Alice asks with huge doe eyes.

“Well,” Dr Nox quickly chirped in, ” The final test comes almost immediately when the boats arrive to the shore; Do you know why the island is called a paradise? “

“Why” Alice enquires.

” well, it’s because there are hardly any body there – Everyone wants to be there.”

” Why does everyone want to be in a place with little people? “

“Ah. That remains a question we will answer some other day Alice. Why don’t you ask, why are there so little people in the first place?”

“Okay i asked.”

Dr Nox Smiles cheekily.
” The strongest boats can survive the sea, but can the sailors of those boats survive the voyage? Many atimes we build our lives to become so compact and secure, and it is undeniable that we will survive. But surviving is not living. A sailor could ride his boat to that island with no soul remaining, and he dies on that island. A sailor could have the strongest, bullish boat that rides the sea as if it was simply ironing it – But when he comes to that paradise, he will not be happy. Another sailor could not even survive the voyage, and his boat would simply rest upon that paradise with no soul on board. Alice do you understand why all these sailors will never achieve their destination?”

Alice squeeze her eyes real tight. She tries to imagine a brewing storm, hoards of sailors screaming through the pouring rain, and brown boats – some buckling underneath – colliding against each other, and at the end, a bright and sunny island waiting.
“I don’t get it.” alice says , opening her eyes, ” why would they risk their lives for that paradise? “

Dr Nox smiles. “Exactly Alice – A sailor’s life is nothing more than to voyage; To seek a paradise, is only to seek the end of his life.”
